| All our properties are based around the Western Algarve area of
Lagos and Luz. With the new motorway (A22) Faro airport is now less
than a one hour drive to the Lagos area. |
| Praia da Luz has grown and grown and has become
officially a town.The church of ‘Nossa Senhora da Luz’
still dominates the village, which still manages to retain the quaint
village atmosphere and it is quite easy to holiday in the village
with out a car. |
There are plenty of restaurants for all tastes, two good supermarkets
and the golden beach waiting just off the pretty promenade. |
| Most properties face south with the wonderful views over the Bay
and the famous ‘black rock’. |
Some of the larger villas in this area are situated on the surrounding
hills so car hire is recommended except for the ‘serious walkers’! |
Lagos is the town from where the ancient mariners
set sail to discover the ‘New World’ and this is still
very much in evidence around every corner. Cobbled streets, ancient
buildings , the slave market, the old fort mixed in with modern
buildings combine for a wonderful atmosphere whether during the
day time, or after dark when the town comes truly alive. You can
eat in any one of the many quality restaurants and afterwards stroll
around the town whether its to enjoy a quiet drink, watching the
street performers or partying with the multi national backpackers. |
| Todays mariners will be found across the river in the colourful
Marina. Well worth a visit. |
West Coast Beaches…are now just a short drive
away. Visit Sagres or take a drive up Monchique….
